SERVICES

Clinical psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing mental illness and emotional distress. Clinical psychologists are trained to work with people of all ages, from children to the elderly, and they play a crucial role in helping people to manage and overcome mental health challenges.

In order to practice in Australia, all psychologists must be registered with the national registration board, the Psychology Board of Australia, which is part of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This ensures that psychologists are held to a high standard of competence and are required to adhere to a strict Code of Conduct. It should be noted that not all counsellors or therapists are registered psychologists. Choosing to see a registered psychologist is a way to ensure that you receive high-quality, ethical treatment.
